The Otto Graham Hall of Athletic Excellence in Billard Hall at the U.S. Coast Guard Academy in New London, CT pays tribute to the history of Coast Guard Academy athletics, great teams, outstanding individual athletes, as well as, the pioneers of men’s and women’s sports via a collection of world-class displays. In addition, the CGA Athletic Hall of Fame moved from Roland Hall to this new location and received a much-needed cosmetic upgrade.
Whether it’s the first undefeated football team, the women’s volleyball or men’s basketball team that advanced to the Elite Eight, or the National Champion women’s sailing team, the Academy’s tradition of excellence is on display throughout the Hall. This, and a great deal more, is now viewed by cadets on a daily basis, while alumni and Academy friends who return are also able to feel pride in the Academy’s athletic legacy now on display.
This project is part of the $30,000,000 All Present campaign, an endeavor unprecedented in the USCGA Alumni Association’s history, includes 15 projects that align with the Coast Guard Academy’s strategic goals to develop professional excellence, ensure academic excellence, and promote athletics and physical excellence. This campaign's impacts will be felt in positive ways for years to come - attracting the very best high school students, raising the national prominence of the institution, and strengthening our Service.
