Agartala (Tripura), Feb 19 (ANI): After more than 10 months, the Border Security Force (BSF) resumed Beating Retreat or lowering of the flags ceremony at Agartala-Akhaura border on Febraury 18. It is a daily military practice in which the border guards of India and Bangladesh have been jointly taking part. The ceremony is a symbol of both the countries’ friendly relationship and cooperation. “Months after COVID-19 restrictions, we are trying to restore and start from both sides. For the time being, we are doing it from our side” said Susanta Nath, Inspector General, BSF Tripura Frontier. (SA)
