Nadi Shodhana pranayama | alternate nostril breathing | anuloma viloma | Energy Cleaning Breathing
In this video we are going to practice a very important pranayama known as Nadi Shodhana pranayama or nadi shuddhi pranayama also known as alternate nostril breathing. If you stick around until the end of the video we will give you a technique to make this pranayama more effective. Shuddhi means purification or cleanse and nadi means your energy channels. You have around 72,000 nadis energy channels in your pranic body according to hatha yoga and these channels have three more important channels called ida, pingala and sushumna. Ida is originating from your left nostril, feminine energy channel and pingala is your masculine energy channel and sushumna is neutral. These energy channels meet at seven important junctions called seven chakras. These chakras are blocked and have imbalances because of our modern lifestyle, lack of sleep, bad eating habits. Through this Nadi Shuddhi pranayama you can clear these blockages and you can express yourself more freely. How to Cleanse your Energy channels with Breathing ?
