This was a very sudden flip!
After running country for 8 years and two owners (Cumulus and Entercom/Audacy), WNSH flipped to classic hip hop at 1 p.m. on October 22. *Personal note: this is one of my favourite launch pieces ever. The producers did an excellent job with it!*
I do have the final 90 minutes or so of the goodbye show and the jockless hour of music under the country format and the first two hours of The Block, including the weird streaming glitches that lasted for two hours; those were uploaded in separate airchecks.
Included is the final country song (Carrie Underwood's "See You Again"), followed by the transition to the new format (the Nelly remix of Florida-Georgia Line's "Cruise", New Kids on the Block's "The Right Stuff", and Jennifer Lopez's "Jenny from the Block").
