The 70s were years of heightened artistic exploration for Fernando Zóbel, says Adolfo Cayón. During this decade of imaginative abundance, Zóbel would create, uninterruptedly, some of his most important series. Supporting Zóbel's artistic innovations was his advisor, critic, and right-hand man Rafael Pérez Madero.

“Fernando Zóbel: The 1970s (A Homage to Rafael Pérez Madero)” is part of Art Fair Philippines 2022 and will run until April 1 at León Gallery International! Exhibit hours are 9am to 7pm, Mondays to Sundays.
