Recently I heard that today's student grade paints are just as good as artist grade paints were 30 years ago. Could that possibly be true? Do you need to spend the extra money for artist grade paints? Or will student grade paints work well enough for you.

Here I do a simple test. I'll show you how three different colors, red, blue and green, look as artist paints and different levels of student paints.
