This course discusses the management of refractive complications after previous corneal refractive surgery procedures (LASIK, PRK, RK, DALK, PK etc). Patient complaints and diagnostic testing must lead to a specific diagnosis in order to best choose the therapeutic course of action (Wavefront-guided, Topography-guided, Trans-epithelial PTK or others). Subjective and objective tests are discussed in the context of obtaining a diagnosis in the various types of complication (small optical zone, decentration, irregular astigmatism, irregularly irregular surfaces).
Part 5 (of 6): Outcomes of trans-epithelial PTK for irregularly irregular astigmatism
