Holdfast Systems Bomb Suppression Blanket is Blast Tested with 105grams of explosive to determine the level of blast suppression achieved by using the blanket.
5 Free Field pressure sensors were used at 1m and 1,5m to record blast pressure wave peaks.
Several naked unprotected blasts were initially conducted to establish the unprotected blast pressures. This was then followed by 2 tests with the Bomb Suppression Blanket to determine the overall protection factor offered by the blanket.
