This was Birmingham New Street Station back in January 1986. A wonderful location to see many types of traction then. From Class 31,47,50,86,87 The fairly new 150's The ageing EMU 310 class and of course the HST on the long cross country hauls.
How it has all changed from redevelopment and the demise of loco haulage, sadly now mostly "Pendolinos" and 2nd Generation DMU's. Enjoy this short feature heading back nearly 37 years.
