The picturesque hill city of Shimla in northern India received a fresh spell of snowfall on December 23, just a day ahead of Christmas Eve. Tourists revelled as skies dropped snow onto the Himachal Pradesh capital. This is reportedly the second snowfall of the season in Shimla. The local meteorological department had forecast frequent spells of rain and snow in and around Shimla until December 28.
