Dollar Tree "Crumbl" Chocolate Covered Strawberry Cookie

You will need:

1 box devil's food cake mix $1.25
1 jar of cream cheese frosting $1.25
Chocolate Chips $1.25
2 bags of freeze dried strawberries $2.50
1/2 cup of oil
2 eggs 1.25

Total cost $7.50 to make 8 Cookies $0.93 per cookie

Mix cake mix with 1/2 cup of oil and 2 eggs, cover and refrigerate for 1 to 2 hours. Divide into 8 large cookies and roll into smooth balls then press gently into thick pucks. Bake on a parchment lined baking sheet at 350 degrees for 14 to 16 minutes and let cool completely.

Crush freeze dried strawberries into a powder and whip into cream cheese frosting. This is very thick, the easiest way to frost the cookie is to divide the frosting evenly between the 8 cookies then press them down slowly and gently upside down onto a sheet of parchment paper and chill in the freezer for 20 minutes.

Peel off the parchment paper and you'll have a nice smooth top.

Microwave the chocolate on 30 second burst stirring between each microwave session until fully melted, drizzle over your cookies and refrigerate until the chocolate is set. Enjoy!
