Performing a factory reset on your Garmin Instinct will completely remove all user data and user settings. If you would like to simply remove the user settings, perform only a reset to the Default Settings. Perform the steps demonstrated in the above video at your own risk.

How to Factory Reset the Garmin Instinct:
1. Hold down the menu button to open the Menu.
2. Once the menu opens, scroll down and select Settings.
3. Once the settings open, scroll all the way down and select System.
4. In the System settings, scroll down and select Reset.
5. To factory reset your Garmin Instinct, select Delete Data and Reset Settings.
6. Your Garmin Instinct has now had a hard reset, and will need to be setup again.
