An immigrant named Ambar, with no documentation, struggles to find her footing in America. She hopes to start a new life after her mother's death, but she soon realizes it won't be that easy. At the same time, due to a financial problem, she moves into a cheap boarding house, only to uncover the hidden horrors beneath it all.
