Hilary Beckles, Vice-chancellor of the University of the West Indies, delivers the keynote address to the HESI Global Forum 2024: The Future of Higher Education for Sustainable Development, which took place on 15 July 2024 at United Nations Headquarters in New York City.
Each year, Higher Education Sustainability Initiative (HESI) organizes a global forum as a special event to the High-level Political Forum on Sustainable Development (HLPF) – the UN’s main platform for the follow-up and review of the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development.
HESI is a partnership between several United Nations entities, including the United Nations Academic Impact, and the higher education community.
