Here are 3 simple tips that will help you keep your kitchen clean.
1. Clean as You Go:
Save yourself a headache and clean repeatedly throughout the day rather than all at once at the end of a shift. When there's downtime, wipe things down and re-sanitize stations.
2. Use the Right Products:
This doesn't mean that they have to be the most expensive, but you need to have the right products for each area of the kitchen to clean properly. Forget the dollar store stuff.
3. Have the Right Mindset:
Anytime I hear someone say that they "can't clean" because it's just not who they are, it makes me crazy. If you don’t want to clean don’t work in a restaurant. Don’t be such a lazy @ss and give it a try.
These tips don't just apply to a commercial kitchen. Use them at home and I promise cleaning your kitchens will stop feeling like such a chore.
