Whose are you and where are you from?
My name is Rogowoi Artem. I am a painter from the Kharkov region of Ukraine.
What brought you to art?
Honestly, I don't remember why I started to practice the art, because it was many years ago and in different periods the cause was different. The first step was to go to art school, then to the faculty of fine arts and in the end my way of learning was the Kharkov Academy of Design and Arts, where I learned painting restoration. It was important for my life, because I learned the technology of painting and something technical like fresco and others. So my motivation is that I love what I do.
What is your driving force?
I try to do something that is not enough in this world for me.
What kind of work do you do and why?
I mix a few styles of painting and try to create the most beautiful artistic images based on the experience of previous generations of artists and my observations of textures and natural elements. But it is difficult for me, I want to talk about my paintings because I am constantly dissatisfied with the results and I want to improve.
