Basic Education Minister Angie Motshekga has concluded a meeting with cabinet on Sunday. There's been strident calls to close schools amid a spike in Covid-19 infections across the country. Last week Motshekga met teacher unions, and other education stakeholders.
Student body Cosas has also been vocal in calling for schools to close.
