Fuji Shibazakura Festival
Is a popular festival to see shibazakura (pink moss or phlox moss) flowers. They have about five varieties on display. This festival is located near the base of Mt. Fuji about 133 km (82 miles) from Tokyo Station. Actually, we intended on going up Mt. Fuji to level 5, but it snowed the night before and it was closed. There are many sightseeing places near Mt. Fuji and this is one of them. Obviously, this particular one is seasonal (mid April-June), but the views are just breath taking. We visited on April 28, 2019.
