This talk is on decarbonising Indian Economy using sustainable means in particular, more about personal and shared mobility. Armed with M.S. and Ph.D. degrees from Stanford University, Dr. Krothapalli was the Don Fuqua Eminent Scholar Chair & Professor Emeritus of mechanical engineering at Florida State University (FSU), USA and an Affiliated Professor of Energy at Royal Institute of Technology (KTH), Sweden. He was on the faculty of Aeronautics & Astronautics at Stanford University from 1981-1983, and the founding member and Chairman of the Mechanical engineering department at FSU from 1983 to 2002. An expert in the fields of Aeronautics and Renewable Energy, Dr Krothapalli has 5 US patents and over 200 scientific papers to his credit. A successful entrepreneur, he founded five start-up companies in California and Florida. Dr. Krothapalli is a Fellow of American Society of Mechanical Engineers and a past National Research Council Senior Fellow at NASA Ames Research Center This talk was given at a TEDx event using the TED conference format but independently organized by a local community.
