Orange Beach Mayor Tony Kennon and the City Council held a mostly virtual town hall meeting on Tuesday, March 17, 2020. The town hall meeting had been previously planned to cover updates to the city's after-school programs, Expect Excellence and Camp Sunshine; however, with the recent coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak in the U.S., and now Alabama, it was decided to shift the meeting to cover pressing topics related to issues facing Orange Beach. Since the coronavirus situation is fluid and ever-changing, topics discussed in the meeting may become outdated as new information comes to light.
