Use of Aadhaar is quite common, we use aadhaar for various services like KYC, identity and address verification. Aadhaar enables biometric verification which makes physical online verification a breeze but we have heard news where hackers may steal your fingerprint scan and access your personnel or bank information for their use.
Thankfully the government is stringent in its security policies and there are very few chances that anyone can hack your information but still those who are susceptible can permanently or temporarily lock their biometrics on their own.
