Earlier this week, we attended a drone launch at Novant Health's Emergency Drone Fulfillment Center in Kannapolis. Novant Health's partnership with Zipline will give hospitals in the region instant access to PPE and critical medical supplies during the COVID-19 pandemic.


Known for its work in Rwanda and Ghana, Zipline is an American medical product delivery company that builds and operates drone aircraft for delivering critical and lifesaving products where and when they are needed. The Emergency Drone Fulfillment Center in Kannapolis is adjacent to the Novant Health Logistics Center, which enables Novant Health to deliver PPE and critical medical supplies to hospitals throughout the region in an instant.
