Why can't every nonprofit organization use CRM to streamline their workflow? Why do they use PDF/Word forms and move the information to a spreadsheet?
In the demo, I first demonstrated their old intake process, which involved using a PDF referral form that the referring person and the applicant had to sign. The form then had to be faxed, physically mailed, or delivered to the client's office. Once the client received and reviewed the form, they had to manually input the applicant's data into an Excel file, which was a very time-consuming process.
Now, the new workflow we developed has streamlined their intake process. We created an online referral form which allows the referring person to fill it out and add a digital signature. After the form is submitted, the CRM system sends an email notification to the applicant to review and sign the form. Once the applicant signs and submits the form, another email notification is sent to the admin staff at the center. Our streamlined process has helped our client save a lot of time and effort.
