I've spent many long days over the past few years wearing Salomon Quest 4D GTX and have been pleasantly surprised at their performance. Finding a boot that spans the needs of multiple activities in a variety of terrain can be challenging, but these are the best I have found thus far for a lightweight all around hiking boot.
