Basin Bridge Railway Yard & Electric Loco Trip Shed, is a Train Care & Electric Loco Shed facility between Chennai Central and Basis Bridge Junction Railway Station at Periyamet, George Town in Chennai City, Tamil Nadu State, India. It is used to maintain trains that arrive and depart from MGR Chennai Central Railway Station. It also holds the Electric Loco Trip Shed. The Buckingham Canal runs parallel to the Railway Yard. A host of WAP4 & WAP 7 Electric Loco Engines are on display from Electric Loco Sheds all across India.
