Total Skin Electron Beam Therapy or TSEB is a treatment for Cutaneous T Cell lymphoma, or CTCL. When I looked on YouTube I only found technical presentations on the subject and no personal experiences, so I thought that I would contribute my experience.
This recording was taken at the end of my TSEB treatment, used as conditioning prior to Total Lymphoid Irradiation or TLI and a stem cell transplant. At the end of the treatment, I had limited side effects and concluded that the thought of some of the procedures was actually worse than the experience. Almost immediately after, though, I started to lose my hair and my toe nails are very sensitive, possibly suggesting that they may fall out.
My next step, however, is much more daunting. with a minimum 4 weeks confinement, I imagine I will be making a few more of these.
