Winter Special Healthy MUTTON PAYA SOUP Geletine Texture, Anyone can prepare it easily.
Once in a Week A Bowl of Moutton Paya Soup keeps you Healthy. Mutton or Goat Paya/Trotter Soup. This soup makes bones strong & provide energy. To keep you warm & healthy specially in Winter season. Have & Drink this soup it clears your throat heals cold & keeps active.
This soup is specially given for New Mothers to increase her Breastfeeding & reoccupy her lost energy & to strengthen her Bones, Loose Body Weight, its a good Immunity Booster.
●Ingredients: A
* 12 Mutton Legs/Trotters
Cleaned (burnt & cleaned
nicely).
* 3-4nos Onions chopped
* 1 tbsp Ginger crushed
* 1-2tbsp Garlic minced
* 2 Bay leaves
* 3-4nos chopped Tomatoes
* 1tsp tsp Garam Masala
* 1tbsp Coriander leaves
B* To Grind into Stew/Soup
powder:
* 4 Kashmiri chillies
* 1tbsp Coriander seeds
* 1tsp Cumin seeds
* 1 tbsp Peppercorns
* 1/2 tsp Fennel seeds
* 1-2" Cinnamon sticks
* 2-4nos Green Cardamoms
* 1 Black Cardamom
* 6-8nos Cloves
* 1tsp Turmeric powder
*1tsp Peppercorns Crushed (optional)
* Grind above all into smooth powder.
●Method:
1. Clean Mutton Payas nicely. If you feel that Butcher didn't cleaned properly, then you can use open flame on gas & burnt the any dirt or it's fur/hair. I have shown in the Video & clean it. Wash it thoroughly 4-5 times in water using salt & or Wheat flour.
2. Take a Pressure Cooker. Heat 2tbsp of Ghee or Cooking Oil, add Bay leaves, Ginger Garlic chopped saute till raw smell goes, add Onions saute little soft, add Mutton Payas & stir fry it for 5mins. Add grounded Masala powder, add 3-4 chopped Tomatoes, cook till soft, add salt stir it.
3. Add sufficient hot boiling water to cook Payas, (add 1-2 tbsp of Tamarind Pulp it's optional for extra taste if you like) (add nearly 5 -7cups of water). Close lid & keep it on high full flame & let it cook for 8-10 whistles. Or depend upon your quality of the Pressure cooker & on quality of Payas.
4. Now reduce the flame slow & let it cook for 30mins till Payas should cook & leaves it's gelatine smooth & soft, sticky silky gel & separate it's meat from it's bones.
5. After Pressure released check salt, masala etc. if water become very less & soup is very thick, then you can add hot water in it & adjust it, continue to cook till soup become medium thick, soft, sticky, silky like gelatin.
6. Garnish it with Coriander leaves & serve it hot hot with your favourite Rotis, Parothas, Neer Dosas, Idli, Sannas, Panpolay, any Rice or fried Rice etc.
7. Just prepare once in a week this Yummy Mutton/ Goat Paya Soup silky geletine yummy & enjoy it with your family & friends.
●Tips:
1. Clean it thoroughly as I showed in Video
2. Always try to bring fresh & less aged Goats Leg Paya from Butcher
3. Cook it in Pressure Cooker. Or if you have time you can cook it in a big Pan or Vessel on slow flame till it's bone soft & releases it's geletine/marrow.
4. You can add more or less masalas it's depend upon your taste & prepare this healthy easy soup
5. Mostly in Winter or Rainy season you can prepare it. It's very good for Joint Pain, providing sufficient energy & keeps body warm.
