Hello everybody, this is Jeff at etrailer.com. Today, we're gonna take a look at the Counteract single 16 ounce bag of Tire Balancing Beads. Now, these Counteract balancing beads are the economical way to balance your tire and wheel assembly for the life of your tire, and these beads do install inside the tire. Just wanna zoom in and show you. Basically, this bag will include, let me just go ahead and show you, these bags come seal, what I've done is torn this one open just to show you what's in the inside. So basically, we'll dump everything out here, and go over each piece.

Oops, there we go. Basically, this bag will include a 16 ounce bag, right here, of the balancing beads, it includes this vortex valve core, it includes this self-sealing valve cap, and this double seal flow through cap. Now, these beads themselves, they are made of a coated glass sphere, the balancing beads will not cause damage to the inner liner of your tire, they won't clump regardless of excess moisture, and they are TPMS compatible. They are environmentally friendly construction, so they are reusable and recyclable. Now, how these balancing beads work, I just wanna pop up a little insert there that'll show you.

But basically, what happens is once your tire begins to roll, this bag will break open, and the beads will get distributed around the interior tire thanks to centrifugal force. So as the wheel continues to spin, the heavy spot in your unbalanced tire will pull up and down on your vehicle suspension, and this will cause the beads to shift in the opposite direction of that pull, so these beads will continue to migrate until there's enough of them on the opposite side of the heavy spot of the tire to balance out the tire. These tire balancing beads will continuously and automatically readjust the balance of your truck or off-road tires, they do reduce vibration, they ensure even wear to increase life of the tire, and they'll even improved fuel economy. Now, they are an easy installation, basically, you just throw this inner bag into the tire when it's removed from the wheel, or you can inject the beads into the valve stem. The beads do remain inside the tire, they don't come loose to contaminate the environment, and they won't cause any damage to your wheels.

One note, I do wanna mention that if you're tired does have internal TPMS sensors, you will need to break down the tire to install these beads. Now, the application for a 16 ounce bag, it is designed to work on a 19 1/2 inch to 24 1/2 inch heavy-duty truck tire, and it'll work on 15 inch to 26 inch off-road tires. Now, to order the correct amount of beads that you need for your application, what you'll do is get the size of the tire from the sidewall of your trailer tire or a vehicle tire, and then match it to the tire sizes that are listed on the product page for that size bag of beads. They do make many different sizes, this one's a 16 ounce bag, but they also have 12 ounce, 10 ounce, eight ounce, six ounce, all kind of different sizes, we do carry those separately. And if you go to the product page for each one of those size bags, it'll show you the tires it'll work in.

Now also, in order to reduce the possibility of any valve leaks, they do include this Counteract valve core, and then they recommend to replace your original valve core with this one, and then they give you two choices of caps to use, either the metal valve cap that's a self-sealing one or the double seal flow through cap, you do wanna use these in place of the original valve core and cap, and again, these are included in every bag that you purchase.
