Doing my part to keep these classics on the road! Third episode of what's going to be a long journey! In this episode, let's get into fabrication! Now that the fenders are sandblasted, I'm going to fabricate patch panels for any parts that can't be repaired but can be patched! Had fun with this- don't forget there's TWO fenders I need to make patches for. Kept this one short and sweet- edited a ton of hammering and fabricating out- super boring but whittled 40 hours down to 6 min. Enjoy and comment down below if you enjoyed the video!
This Datsun was my Daily driver 15 years ago and was purchased in Tampa, Florida and moved and stored (outside) in Newport News, VA for 8 years and finally made the cross country trek to Los Angeles, CA where I will be restoring her completely and yes... repainting her pink (with a whole lot of custom paint work)! I'm leaving everything but the paint stock! Everyone has a Z story, wether your mother, brother, neighbor's aunt had one ....and I would love to hear it! Comment down below!
Enjoy the ride with me... It'll be fantastic. If you have any questions or any comments (please be respectful) I'd be happy to answer them, I love hearing from the Z community or makers/ painters and everyone in between.
I'll be preforming the body and some mechanical restoration myself. (I mean, as much as I can)
