The seminar recording was done during the Inaugural interdisciplinary fashion-linguistics seminar hosted by a team of international researchers at Birmingham City University, Birmingham UK, on April 26th 2023. This seminar is a component of the ongoing ERASMUS exchange programme, which has been running between the UK and Ukraine from 2020 to 2023.
Presented case studies are relevant for contextual research within the fashion industry and for primary research and analytical methods suitable for marketing students in design fields. We aim to advance our interdisciplinary research and develop new research methodologies for fashion studies, culminating in a monograph publication, setting a conference and an international research team.
The order of the presentations is following:

• DR. Iryna Alyeksyeyeva, "Paradoxes of the mask: communicating via face covering".
• Victoria Romanchuk, "Corpus-assisted analysis of the sustainable fashion".
• Prof DR. Solomiya Buk, "Clothing Nomination Tendencies in Ukrainian (Text Corpus Studies)".
