It's day two of the Conservative Party convention and members are getting fired up. Over 2,500 delegates are meeting in Quebec City, Que., behind closed doors to debate party priorities.
They're trying to narrow down a pile of 60 policy ideas to just 30 proposals, on everything from defence to energy to health care, with members voting on them Saturday.
Party leader Pierre Poilievre is riding the party's growing popularity in Quebec, as the Conservatives look to make modest but important gains there in the next federal election.
