In the early '80s, the idea of bringing the action of an arcade game home was unthinkable unless you were Ricky Schroder on Silver Spoons! They were far too big & expensive, and thus, out of reach. But that's exactly what Coleco did (sort of) with their line of tabletop arcade machines for titles like Pac-Man, Frogger, and Donkey Kong. And now, more than forty years later, a new wave of games have been released in the spirit of those original Coleco gadgets.

The Coleco Revival series first popped up on Kickstarter sometime last year and quickly got over $50,000 in funding for their $10,000 goal. The promise was to preserve the classic shape of the originals but with updated technology to deliver a modern arcade gaming experience, and their first releases were to be Berzerk and Frenzy.
