✓ My continuing journey into the real food of India. The affordable delicious food that ordinary members of the public regularly eat.
Once I had tasted the freshly fried samosa; I was hooked, the taste was sublimely delicious - it had a perfectly spiced mixed filling of mashed potato and a crispy flaky outer pastry, genuinely the taste was divine and I look forward to the day when I can revisit here again.
I still find it hard to believe that the samosas here cost only 5 rupees each!!!
The samosa pastry was basically made with a Chapati dough and had some Cumin Seeds and Vegetable Ghee in the recipe ingredients.
The spicy mashed potato filling had boiled and Mashed Potatoes, Green Chillies, Coriander Powder and Cumin Seeds.
