This panel is jointly conducted by IsDB, IFC, and Spark leverages concrete examples and nascent lessons from economic inclusion in forced displaced hosting areas. The session reflects for the first-time cross-cutting perspectives from the Islamic Development Bank, an MDB/DFI active in the space; Spark, a seasoned practitioner supporting small business and market-ready education in forced displacement in MENA; Goodlife Pharmacy, a large pharmaceutical chain setting up operations in a remote refugee-hosting area in Kenya; and Bancamia, a financial institution in Colombia serving refugee ‘migrants’ from Venezuela with a gender lens. A representative from MFA NL concludes the session with forward looking thoughts.
