Alone in the Wilderness
A solo overnight camp in the wilderness of Upstate New York. I user minimal gear on this trip, primarily my hiking gear, for when I am not planning on staying in the woods overnight. I did this as an exercise and to show what is possible with some basic gear and skills. I build a bushcraft shelter and raised bed using my Tracker knife and Silky Saw. I then build a campfire using sure-fire fire plugs from Bigfoot Bushcraft. I did not have any food for the trip, so made spruce tea to hydrate and relax, before settling in. I wore my Russian winter gorka 3 for this trip from Russian Cold Camo. It helped keep me warm over night as the temperatures dropped below freezing.
Thank you for watching.
