The DCEU film universe was meant to rival the Marvel Cinematic Universe, but fell FAR SHORT of that lofty goal. Today we're reviewing just what went wrong: how an accomplished director led the DC Comics cinematic universe down a strange dark path, giving birth to a trilogy of comic book movies (Man of Steel, Batman v Superman, Justice League) which may go down in history as one of the most elaborate and expensive disasters in Hollywood history.
