Today we're looking at the Polish WZ 67 steel combat helmet, as used by Polish forces during the Cold War era. These were well made helmets, based on the Soviet Ssh40 design, but with a very improved liner system. They were also an upgrade to the earlier Polish WZ 50 helmet, modernized for comfort and ease of production. Widely exported, these still serve in smaller militaries around the world today. The example we're looking at was made at the Huta Silesia plant in 1971, and is marked as such on the interior.
