The Baltic weather is full of guile and surprises. During the walk, the good weather abruptly changed to inclement weather. It started to rain. But that didn't stop me.
I suggest you keep me company and walk along the route: M.K.Churlenio Street - Konstantin Kalinovsky Street - Leiklos Street - L.Stuokos Street - Gutseviciaus Street - T.Vrublevsky Street.
We will pass by the oldest observatory in Lithuania, which was built at the beginning of the last century. Now it is the astronomical observatory of Vilnius University. We will see the administrative and residential buildings of Vilnius University. Anyone who is familiar with the history of the city can confirm my words. At the beginning of the last century, the Vilnius Infantry School was located on this site. And it was not students who walked through this territory, as it is now, but gentlemen junkers.
We will see the church of Tsars Konstantin and Mikhail Maleyin. Next we will pass by the registry office. And we will finish our route at Cathedral Square.
We will walk through the old streets of the city and see the architecture of the past, which is closely intertwined with modern buildings. We will hear the sounds of the city and the rain. Let's enjoy the walk and this little trip around the city.
