PATTAN Virtual Literacy Symposium 2024 has provided excellent sessions on all aspects of literacy including phonemic awareness, orthographic mapping, decoding, fluency, comprehension (sentence, paragraph, passage), vocabulary, morphology, inferences, background knowledge, spelling, and writing. Our goal is to optimize learning in these strands by all learners including striving adolescent readers, multilingual learners, and students with learning differences.
