We found a loggers camp / landing way out in the woods of New Hampshire that shows all the visual signs of once being in this location. Turning the metal detectors on and swinging over the ground it is even more obvious with all the metal that is in the ground. With doing a bit of research it appears this one spot has been used several times since the 1930' 1940's as a landing for the logging operation. Using the Garrett ATGOLD and ATPRO we decide to see what we can find and dig up here. We love finding all the different layers of New England history and simply enjoy digging old stuff out of the ground.
Most of the stuff we are finding with the detectors is old tobacco tins, beer cans and junk but there are a few interesting things that tie directly to what we are looking for pertaining to the history of this location.
