Menopause weight gain is not inevitable. 🙌 It can be extremely frustrating, depressing, and embarrassing to be at your highest weight ever, despite trying everything you can think of.
But if you’ve gained at least 30 pounds since going through menopause, I bet you’re also experiencing at least one of the following:
✓You aren’t eating more than before menopause, but now it seems like every calorie sticks to your stomach and hips.
✓Your belly fat is going from soft to firm, you know you’re gaining unhealthy visceral belly fat.
✓You’ve always had normal blood work but since going through menopause you’ve been diagnosed with prediabetes and high cholesterol, even though you eat healthy.
✓You’re hungry all the time from cutting calories, and tired all the time from extra exercise, and you’re still gaining weight.
✓The weight is piling on your belly area, thighs, and hips. You look pregnant, and none of your clothes fit anymore.
The reason you’re experiencing this significant weight gain is likely from elevated insulin levels. Insulin is your fat creation and storage hormone. Insulin is not on a standard blood draw. Comment TEST for an at-home insulin testing option.
While hormone replacement therapy is a great option for some women, it’s certainly not a cure-all or quick fix for post-menopause weight gain.
If you want to lose this post-menopause weight and gain strength, doing what you’ve always done won’t work. You’ll need a new strategy for this phase in life that keeps insulin low.
We’ve helped hundreds of women lose weight and improve their health after menopause. If this is you, comment GUIDE to get our free Ultimate Food Guide. This free teaches you what to eat, how much, and why to keep insulin low.
