Phil Magness, senior research faculty at the American Institute for Economic Research, explains how critical theory, which has become so popular among the modern left, is an offshoot of a Marxist way of understanding the world. Instead of using science and analysis to try to understand the world as it is, critical theorists have already decided what is "true", and seek to use research methods as a tool to overthrow the ruling class and correct perceived injustices, even when the objective evidence for their claims does not exist.
