Mahabalipuram, also known as Mamallapuram, is a town situated on the East Coast Road (ECR) in Tamil Nadu, approximately 60 kilometers south of Chennai.
This historical town is renowned for its UNESCO World Heritage Site, the Hindu Group of Monuments dating back to the 7th and 8th centuries, which are located in Mahabalipuram.
The monuments are open for visitation from 6 AM to 6 PM, and the entry fee is 40 rupees. This entrance pass grants access to all the other monuments within Mahabalipuram.

These unique structures include the Draupathi Ratha, Arjuna Ratha, Bheema Ratha, Dharmaraja Yudhishtira Ratha, and Nakula Sahadeva Ratha.
