Today at the Molly Caren Agricultural Center, we planted soybeans into 6 foot tall cereal rye. The results of planting "green" should result in quicker germination, weed suppression, and less runoff throughout the growing season. We are anticipating good results and will post another video later on in the growing season to assess the outcomes.
