Supermarket giant Woolworths has recently announced price freeze on various essential items. Woolworths Group's CEO Bradford Banducci clarified that the supermarket giant has come up with this decision due to rising inflation. The supermarket giant has vowed not to raise the price of almost 200 essential items until the end of 2022 despite the rising inflation. The price freeze list contains various items such as flour, sugar, oats, eggs, tea bags, coffee, pasta etcetera and even baby essentials such as nappies.
