An evening at old Winchester Hill looking for an old tree that I thought Would make an interesting subject as the sunset behind the beautiful Southdowns. I got there early because I didn’t know how long it would take me to find the tree. It didn’t take long, so I had time to walk out to the old hill fort to look at the view and find some sheep to model for me.
After sunset the sky cleared so I stayed for some bonus long exposure astro photography and a bit of light painting.
I absolutely love my Nikon Z50 and tonight I ended up using all the lenses I had with me, starting with the Z DX 50-250mm f4.5-6.3 VR for the sheep. Then the Z DX 16-50mm f3.5-6.3 VR for the sunset behind the old tree and the blue hour shot. Then I switched to my favourite lens the Samyang 12mm f2 for the star trail shot of the dead tree.
