Like with the previous example:
Legend:
Green → Target
Yellow → Pure chase
Red → Proportional navigation
As can be seen, the "pure chase" always points towards the target, whereas the PN missile points towards a possible point of impact.
Needless to say, both missiles travel at the same speed, it being 1.2 times the target's speed.
As expected, in this case the PN missile's trajectory is a straight line.
