It's impossible to put into words what this show in OSLO meant to me.

I don't often do story times or long "emotional" posts on social media because even when I'm struggling I feel like overall I'm so lucky and privileged to get to do what I do, and so many people have it worse. I don't want to complain or seem ungrateful for all of the support I do receive.

But in all honesty the music industry has been really tough on me the last couple of years and the list of reasons to give up was never-ending. When I was getting close to making the call I decided to record a few new songs as well as make this Patreon too! So instead of giving up all together I focused on creating, focused on the positives (the good!) and continued to grow my community. It lead me to release a brand new EP, tour the UK for the first time in years and play the biggest show of my life (so far!). The tour was "small" in music industry terms, but for me feels like such a huge achievement. It would have been impossible without the people who believe in me and my songs! (YOU, and countless others 💛).

It was so surreal standing on that stage and watching so many people sing along to my songs, new & old. I will be incredibly grateful for however many more times I get to re-live that experience.

This year has encouraged me to continue for as long as I'm able. Continue writing, recording new music, and playing shows.

2024 is for making ALBUM 2 (somehow) + playing more shows (fingers crossed).
