Badlapur School Case: The Bombay High Court raised alarms over school safety while hearing the case of two minors' alleged sexual assault in Badlapur. The court questioned the delay in action by the local police and called for an affidavit from the state government. Advocate General Birendra Saraf confirmed that an SIT has been formed for a swift investigation. Meanwhile, the opposition Maha Vikas Aghadi (MVA) has announced a statewide bandh to protest the incident, with FIRs filed against protesters. The case will be heard again on August 27.
