This is the third annual Young Engineers competition, which has proved highly successful in encouraging tomorrow’s engineers and scientists in a fun and engaging way, by means of a STEM (Science Technology, Engineering and Mathematics) challenge to Blackpool,Fylde and Wyre school pupils, aged 13-15.
The YE competition offers every secondary school the chance to win £10,000 for their STEM departments – plus 2015 saw the introduction of a new subsidiary competition and prize of £2,000 presented to the school STEM Club of the Year.
